Another Chinese-made product was recalled, involving multiple Amazon sellers

Another Chinese-made product was recalled, involving multiple Amazon sellers

As we all know , the United States attaches great importance to the protection of children, and the safety of children's products has always been the focus of relevant U.S. departments.

Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission stated in multiple press releases that multiple brands of children's pajamas and robes were recalled because they did not meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear and posed a risk of burns to children .

The recalled products include pajamas made by Auranso Official, Booph and La Paloma, and robes made by Sioro.

First up is Auranso Official, which is recalling about 8,000 children's pajamas sold on Amazon ($11-$19). The recall involves about seven styles of pajamas made of either 95% cotton and 5% spandex or 100% cotton.

Next is Booph, which has about 4,900 children's pajamas sold on Amazon (priced between $9 and $16) that were recalled, involving about 10 styles of the company's pajamas, all of which are made of 100% cotton.

Then there's La Paloma. This brand has fewer clothes involved, with a total of 70 pajamas recalled, all of which are also made of 100% cotton. It is reported that these pajamas are sold on Amazon for up to $58.

In addition to these three brands of children's pajamas, the recalled products also involve Sioro's children's robes. About 950 pieces of this brand's 100% cotton children's robes were recalled, and most of the sales prices on Amazon were between $24 and $29.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said consumers who have purchased these related products should stop using them and contact the seller for instructions on free shipping returns, which will eventually lead to a full refund.

It is worth noting that the origins of these children's clothes are all from China, and the sewing labels all show "Made in China". So far, there have been no reports of accidents or injuries. In addition, it was found that these products were basically launched after November 2020, and Auranso Official, Booph, and Sioro are exclusively sold on Amazon.

Although the remedial measures for this product recall incident only require the relevant brands to provide free returns and full refunds, the product recall has also seriously damaged the brand's reputation in a certain sense. I am afraid that the sales of these products will be greatly affected for a period of time.

As "Made in China" products spread across the globe, they are also being closely watched by foreigners. Therefore, when sellers export their "Made in China" products abroad with their high-quality and low-priced products, they must also pay attention to the safety issues of related products to avoid related incidents from happening again.
