As reported by martechcube last week, Cymbio, a leader in helping connect brands with retail platforms, has raised $7 million in Series A funding led by Vertex Ventures . The funds will be used to expand Cymbio’s global influence in R&D, sales, and marketing.

Cymbio is a startup headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, focusing on "connecting brands to retailers". It provides brands with a bridge that directly connects to retail platforms and can automatically handle the differences between different retail channels, whether it is related to product classification methods, background color regulations for product images, or synchronization of inventory, tracking logistics and returns, helping brands truly achieve a "plug and play" entry effect.


In addition, if Cymbio can help brands simplify the operation of managing orders, then brands can choose to dropship, that is, the merchant instead of the platform stores and mails the products, so that the brand can also obtain the user's name and address.

Data shows that brand customers using Cymbio services have shortened their time to go online in new markets by 91%, increased their average online revenue by more than 65%, and increased their average sales by 47%. Currently, Cymbio supports more than 600 retailers, markets, and department stores in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

 

“The growth we’ve seen over the past year underscores the need for a platform like ours, and we’re doubling down on our efforts to help brands of all sizes successfully engage customers across any retail platform,” said Roy Avidor, founder and CEO of Cymbio.

 

Emanuel Timor, one of the company’s partners , said Cymbio is convinced that its technology will fundamentally change the rules of the game for brands selling online, making lengthy and cumbersome integrations a thing of the past.
