BigID provides centralized visibility and intelligence of personal data through continuous scanning and policy checking, and can proactively comply with data in AWS and across the enterprise data warehouse.

BigID’s integration with AWS Security Hub seamlessly populates the console with events generated by BigID’s continuous, policy-driven monitoring of personal data processing across AWS services. The integration enables customers to extend their existing Security Hub investments and its workflow capabilities to proactively address emerging data privacy compliance requirements.

With the ability to link privacy compliance findings with custom remediation workflows, built on Security Hub’s broad integration into enterprise tools such as ticketing, case management, and Security Orchestration Automation Response, analysts and security teams can more effectively enforce privacy compliance and proactively manage policy violations.

-On May 25, 2016, BigID completed a seed financing of US$2.1 million from investors including Genacast Ventures, BOLDstart Ventures and Deep Fork Capital.

-On January 26, 2017, BigID received angel round financing, the amount of which was not disclosed, and the investor was Plug & Play Ventures.

-On April 24, 2018, BigID completed a US$14 million Series A financing round with investors including Plug & Play Ventures, Comcast Ventures, Boldstart Ventures, ClearSky, SAP, and iO Fund.

-On June 26, 2018, BigID completed a US$30 million Series B financing round with investors including Scale Venture Partners, Comcast Ventures, Boldstart Ventures, Information Venture Partners, ClearSky, and SAP.

-On September 6, 2019, BigID completed a US$50 million Series C financing round with investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Salesforce Ventures, SAP, iO Fund, Comcast Ventures, ClearSky, and BOLDstart Ventures.

-On January 7, 2020, BigID completed a strategic financing of US$50 million from Tiger Global Management.
