The History of Corelle Brands

In the early 20th century, Corning Incorporated in the United States invented the first piece of heat-resistant glass that could be used to make baking utensils, which opened up Belle's business of heat-resistant glass baking utensils.

In 1913, Pyrex heat-resistant glassware was introduced.

In the early 1950s, Corning developed an ultra-heat-resistant glass-ceramic for the U.S. space program to make the nose cone of an intercontinental missile, thus starting the Corning cookware series business.

In 1950, the Corningware cookware series was launched.

1970 Corelle tableware made of durable triple-laminated glass is launched.

In 1983, VISIONS (crystal clear pot) was launched.

In 1994, the Snapware series was launched.

On April 1, 1998, Corning Cutlery, Inc. was established.

In 2006, Corning Tableware of the United States officially established its China headquarters in Shanghai.

In 2014, a new generation of glass-ceramic technology improved the resistance to cold and hot temperature differences and transparency, and the Crystal Diamond Pot was launched in China.

In 2015, Revere, a metal cookware brand founded in 1801, was listed in China.

In 2016, the Flair series that can be stewed in water was launched.

In 2019, VISIONS amber glass tableware was launched.
