Multibanco connects 27 banks in Portugal and covers approximately 78% of Portugal's online consumer user base through approximately 13,000 ATMs and 266,000 automatic payment terminals distributed in Portugal. Features

Multibanco allows users with Portuguese bank accounts to withdraw up to 400 euros a day, and foreign account holders can withdraw more, depending on their bank.

Multibanco differs from other APMs in the following ways:

1. This payment method does not support default pending URLs, you must always provide your own URL;

2. Always return the pending URL, with data attached, which must be displayed to the shopper.

Payment Process

On the payment page, the shopper selects the Multibanco payment method. The payment page then displays the payment reference and other details that the shopper can use to make the payment from their online banking application, or use their bank card at an ATM; the shopper makes the payment by logging into their online banking or using an ATM.
