About Slay

Slay is a German youth social platform that aims to "rebalance the negative emotions on social platforms" and "encourage users to praise other users" to "reshape the relationship between teenagers and social applications." Slay was founded in 2022 by three 23-year-old young founders from Berlin, Germany, Fabian Kamberi, Jannis Ringwald and Stefan Quernhorst. Slay's entrepreneurial inspiration came from Kamberi's personal experience during the COVID-19 epidemic. Due to home isolation, he and his brothers and sisters unconsciously spent more energy on social media, and inevitably suffered from the negative influence of social platforms.

The Slay Difference

We hope to reduce the negative impact of social platforms as much as possible. When opening Slay, users must first answer 12 questions before they can anonymously like other users' posts. This mechanism is similar to another social platform BeReal, where users must upload their own photos before they can see other people's photos. In terms of anonymity, Gas also hopes to increase user confidence through anonymous likes and votes, and have a more positive social impact on users.
