About Top-rated Seller

eBay measures sellers' performance through buyers' transaction experience and has certain standards and requirements for sellers' performance. According to the minimum standards for eBay sellers, seller status levels can be divided into several standards. The most advanced ones are top-rated sellers. eBay will review the top-rated seller status of sellers every month to determine whether the seller's performance meets the standards. Once it does not meet the standards, the top-rated seller status will be lost.

Require

· U.S:

- Have an active eBay account for at least 90 days;

- U.S. buyers with at least 100 transactions and $1,000 in sales in the past 12 months;

- Comply with eBay's Selling Practices Policy;

- Comply with transaction defect rate, closed without seller solution, late shipment rate.

· Australia:

- Become a super seller;

- Meet the requirements of Seller Service Rating (DSR);

- During the account performance evaluation period, the number of eBay Top Rated Sellers with low DSRs shall not exceed 2, or the proportion shall not exceed 0.6%.

Top Rated Sellers on eBay.com.au will automatically become Top Rated Sellers on eBay in Canada, France, and Italy. However, the US, UK, and Germany have different Top Rated Seller criteria, which are determined based on the seller's transactions with buyers in the home country of the three sites. Sellers can only become Top Rated Sellers on eBay for the three sites if they meet the criteria of the three sites. For example, if a seller is registered on eBay.com.au and sells to the UK, the seller can become a Top Rated Seller on the UK site when the transactions made by the seller with UK or Irish buyers meet the criteria of the UK site.

- Starting from October 2009, top-rated sellers on eBay US site can get up to 20% discount on transaction fees; Featured First is only available to top-rated sellers; "fixed price" items of "top-rated sellers" can enjoy more exposure opportunities in "Best Match" search results.

- From September 22, 2011, in order to select and reward high-quality super sellers who continue to provide high-quality services to buyers, eBay will launch the "eBay Top Rated Seller" on eBay.com.au according to global standards.

- Starting May 1, 2017, all sellers with excellent ratings will receive a $30 promotional listing subsidy each quarter, regardless of whether they have opened an eBay store, which can be used to create promotional listings. And for eligible listings, the final value fee discount for sellers with excellent ratings will be reduced from 20% to 10%.

- Starting May 20, 2017, the tracking information upload requirement for eligibility for Excellent Rated Seller status will be increased from 90% to 95%.
