Last November, 47-year-old housewife Anne made money for the first time by working part-time on Amazon. Although it was less than $2, she was still excited.
At that time, she uploaded a 75-second product review video. Because someone placed an order through her link, Amazon gave Anne a commission.
Although the money was not much, it required almost no effort, and Annie felt that this was a promising project.
Since then, she has been shooting product review videos, each of which takes about 20 minutes to shoot and edit. In the past eight months, she has shot nearly 1,000 review videos and earned more than 20,000 US dollars in commissions. On average, she can earn about 2,700 US dollars per month, which is equivalent to nearly 20,000 RMB at the current exchange rate. She does it part-time, so the income is indeed quite considerable.
Anne said she spends up to three hours a week filming, recording voiceovers and editing videos at her home in Fort Collins, Colorado. She added: “Once you’ve got a video, it’s like a passive income stream. Even if I don’t have time to film a video for a week, I’m still making money.”
In fact, from a certain perspective, Annie can be considered a "part-time expert." After all, her main business is running a media information company, specializing in giving clients advice on how to expand their business and develop part-time income.
In addition to Amazon reviews, Anne has many other part-time projects, such as running a podcast, a Youtube channel, and other social media platforms. Most of them make money through advertising, but none of them can earn more than Amazon's part-time job.
Now, she said, Amazon sellers also send her products for free and pay her to review them on her social media accounts.
However, Anne's success is not something that everyone can replicate. It is understood that in order to participate in Amazon's rebate activities, you need to have at least a certain number of fans on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook.
Anne said that part-time income can save you from the exhausting daily work. Once she used the money she earned from part-time work to buy a $249 treadmill on Amazon, and then shot a review video for it. In the end, she not only recovered her investment but also made some money.
Although this project seems to have no worries about income, Annie said that due to the recent changes in Amazon's platform policy, her income has been much lower than before. She now plans to find more part-time channels and put her eggs in different baskets. Amazon part time Evaluation |
