This marks the full launch of this model at the Shenzhen Port. "Most of our products come from Hong Kong. In the past, Shenzhen Port did not support the 9610 model, so we had to ship them to Guangzhou for customs clearance," said the person in charge of Lac Livixi Tmall International Overseas Flagship Store, who applied for the first order. "Now Shenzhen Port supports digital customs clearance 9610, which shortens the customs clearance time a lot. We don't need to ship to Guangzhou, which also saves logistics costs."

The reporter learned that "9610" is the customs supervision code, which is a cross-border e-commerce direct mail model launched by the country to facilitate cross-border e-commerce transactions for small and medium-sized enterprises. It is a supplement to the 1210 model (bonded cross-border trade e-commerce model) and personal luggage express delivery model commonly used by customs in the past.

Compared with the 1210 model, the advantage of 9610 is that merchants do not need to store goods in bonded warehouses in large quantities, which reduces merchants' warehousing costs and cargo turnover pressure; and compared with the personal luggage express delivery model, the 9610 model is applicable to the national cross-border e-commerce comprehensive tax rate, and the product categories have also been expanded, basically covering all cross-border product categories including health foods, skin care and beauty products.
