According to the reporter, this year's Tmall 618 merchant initiatives include 25 items , covering five aspects - financial subsidies , logistics facilitation, traffic subsidies, special epidemic measures, and technological upgrades .

 

These 25 measures are designed based on the actual pain points faced by businesses during the epidemic. They run through the entire chain of business operations and aim to enhance business confidence and help boost consumption.

 

The number of support measures provided by Taobao and Tmall to merchants during the 618 shopping festival this year is more than double that of last year's Tmall Double 11 shopping festival . Zhang Li, director of the E-commerce Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute, analyzed that the epidemic has weakened the confidence of many merchants. Judging from the measures taken by Taobao and Tmall during the 618 shopping festival, the efforts are very strong. Compared with previous years, they are more numerous, more practical and more precise. Taobao Tmall will work with financial institutions to help merchants borrow money at low interest rates and receive money in advance. In the stocking stage, MyBank provides merchants with credit loans with an interest rate as low as 20% off, and some industrial belts and public welfare donation merchants can get an additional credit loan with an interest rate as low as 10% off. During the pre-sale period, pre-sale merchants can enjoy a free collection service of 10 billion yuan. As long as the consumer pays the deposit, the merchant can collect part of the amount for free.
