Almost every family with children has a baby stroller, which makes it very convenient to take the child out. However, the users of baby strollers are basically young children, so quality and safety are still very important when choosing related products!
Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of a stroller with recall number 22-083. The recall includes Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend strollers in charcoal, gray, black and denim colors. The recalled strollers have a label with the order, model or batch number printed on it and fixed to the frame of the stroller. Strollers with order numbers 7884, 7885 or 7886 and model numbers N9938, N9939, N9872 or N0001 are being recalled.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said that the front wheels of the stroller may break during use, causing the stroller to fall accidentally, posing a certain risk of falling to children sitting in the stroller.
The product is reportedly manufactured in Taiwan. From February to October 2020, the product was sold in children's stores across the United States and online on platforms such as albeebaby, Amazon, and pishposhbaby. It was priced at approximately US$700 and 1,290 units were sold.
So far, Valco Baby has received 207 reports of the front wheels of the strollers cracking or breaking, but no children have been injured.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said consumers who purchased the product should immediately stop using the recalled stroller and contact Valco Baby to replace the front wheel assembly free of charge. Valco Baby is also directly contacting all known purchasers.
At the same time, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission also stated that the recall was voluntarily conducted by Valco Baby in accordance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's rapid recall process. Rapid recalls are initiated by companies, and they promise to cooperate with the CPSC to quickly announce recalls and remedial measures to protect consumers.
Children's products have always been a high-incidence area for recall incidents. Relevant sellers must strictly control the quality and safety of products when producing them to avoid immeasurable losses to subsequent operations due to recalls. recall Product Safety |
