Zhiou opens its first warehouse center in the UK

Daimai Zhiou opened its first warehouse center in the UK, covering an area of ​​more than 10,000 square meters.

According to foreign media reports, Furnolic, a subsidiary of Zhiou in the UK , has opened a warehouse with an area of ​​148,461 square feet in Prologis Park Ryton in cooperation with Prologis. This is also Zhiou’s first warehouse center in the UK. Zhiou also announced the news of the UK overseas warehouse on its official website a few days ago.

Prologis Park Ryton is located in central Europe and is one of the logistics bases favored by retailers. It is located in the center of the UK highway network and has a strong and skilled local labor force. In addition to Zhiou, Jaguar Land Rover, Freeman and DHL have also rented sites there. A new site of approximately 330,000 square feet is currently under construction and is expected to be available for leasing in the summer of 2022.

It is reported that Zhiou has signed a 10-year lease with Prologis. Through this warehouse, Zhiou can more conveniently sell home furnishings, furniture and pet furniture series of its brands Songmics, Vasagle and Feandrea.

The Furnolic warehouse is divided into two parts: the elevated area and the flat warehouse area. It was officially put into use last month. Logistics is a very important part of e-commerce sales. The construction of the UK overseas warehouse is also a milestone for Zhiou.
