Outrageous! Export packages from Shenzhen, China were robbed

In cross-border logistics, there are always some packages that fail to be successfully delivered due to various reasons. Since last year, due to the epidemic, it has become more common for sellers' packages to fail to be successfully delivered. In this case, sellers can only accept the result of "losing both money and goods" in most cases .

Lost packages are all the same, and the reasons for loss are all strange, which is no surprise to everyone. However, recently a seller broke the news that a seller's package was robbed during delivery. This is the first time I have heard of this from a seller. Based on the information provided by the seller, I found the relevant information of this package on the express tracking platform.

From the logistics query platform, we can see that the package was shipped from Shenzhen, China to Mexico. After arriving in Mexico, the package was redelivered due to the absence of the consignee during the first delivery. However, during the redelivery process, it encountered a highway robbery.

It is rare to see a package being robbed during transportation . One seller joked, "I am afraid he will come again. After we wipe out the bandits, we can get the goods back."

However, judging from the time, it has been more than two months since the package was "lost", and it is highly likely that it cannot be found. It is also unclear whether the logistics company will compensate the seller in this situation. If there is no compensation, the seller will most likely lose both money and goods.

Although the package was robbed, it is not the first time that such a case has occurred. In 2020, two robberies against Amazon delivery drivers occurred in the Fairfax district of Cleveland, Ohio, USA on the same day, just a few hours apart.

In both cases, the robbers used guns to force the drivers to surrender and then drove away. Eventually, local police found the two stolen trucks, but the goods had been looted and no report was made on how many packages had been stolen. The sellers of the related products were apparently caught in the crossfire.

There are thousands of ways to deliver a package, but safe delivery is the most important. Although some special situations cannot be avoided, sellers should try to choose reliable logistics companies when choosing logistics. If the product is of high value, it is best to insure the product if possible to avoid losses.
