eBay Germany launches ebay-FIEGE shipping service to speed up delivery times

German eBay Marketplace sellers can now choose same-day collection for items they sell from its trading site.

Foreign media reported that eBay-FIEGE's instant shipping service is currently being launched in Dresden and Berlin, and plans to expand nationwide in the coming months. The service is designed to help smaller companies achieve similar delivery service levels as larger competitors while focusing on transactions with their customers.

According to eBay, "The service relies on convenient delivery of goods, flexible binding contracts, and safe and fast shipping."

eBay explains on its website how the service works : The first brand purchased before 12:30 p.m. will be booked for same-day pickup. Additional shipments booked before 2:30 p.m. will also be picked up the same day. Collection will take place at the dealer's location between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

When the goods are delivered, each shipment receives a guaranteed scan report and from that moment on, the usual seller protection comes into effect. In addition, order import and shipment tracking are integrated into the process. "eBay instant shipping by FIEGE" also ensures compliance with eBay Plus standards, which is a clear advantage for customers. The service is offered flexibly and without contractual obligations , i.e. there are no minimum quantities, no contract periods and the service can be booked on a daily basis.
