Cowen reveals eBay's hot-selling categories in the first quarter of 2021

 

A few days ago, Wall Street firm Cowen released a research report before the release of eBay's 2021Q1 financial report, which analyzed the market overview of eBay in the first quarter of 2021. The report shows that eBay's fastest-growing categories in the first three months of 2021 are electronics, clothing, sporting goods, and household goods. Cowen also released some results from its proprietary survey of eBay consumers, and pointed out that the young consumer group (18-34 years old) on eBay is growing fastest.

 

Amazon's advertising business is growing faster

 

Jungle Scout recently released the 2021 Amazon Advertising Report, which analyzed advertising data of more than 560,000 advertising campaigns and 3,500 brands, agencies, and third-party sellers on Amazon.

 

The report shows that 74% of US consumers search for products on Amazon.com, and more than half (56%) of consumers say that if they could only buy a product from one store, it would be Amazon. In addition, nearly four in ten (37%) US consumers say that their online spending is increasing, even though overall spending may be lower than normal.
