Nearly 5,000 products were recalled! Baby strollers caused a big storm, involving multiple platforms

Foreign media reported that the Canadian Ministry of Health recently issued a series of notices regarding the recall of domestic products, including a large number of items for children that pose safety hazards, which may be serious or fatal.

Recall Product 1: Baby Jogger Stroller Seat Kit

According to a notice from the Canadian Ministry of Health, Brands in Motion's Baby Jogger stroller seat kit has not been tested under Canada's Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations and may not meet the safe sleeping requirements of cribs, posing potential harm and danger to infants, and has been forced to be recalled urgently in Canada.

It is reported that there are 5 recalled products , which are sold in large stores such as Walmart, Toys R Us , and Amazon in Canada . In addition, about 4,382 units were sold in Canada between January 2017 and March 2021 .

The five products are Baby Jogger City Select Lux Pram Kit, Baby Jogger City Select Pram Kit, Baby Jogger Compact Pram, Baby Jogger Deluxe Pram, and Baby Jogger Mini 2 Pram .

Recall Product 2: BABYZEN YOYO Cradle

Another baby stroller product that was recalled for suspected violations is this BABYZEN YOYO bassinet . According to sampling and evaluation by Health Canada, these bassinets were determined to be non-compliant with the Cribs , Cradles and Strollers Regulations . This is because the handles of the products can be pulled into the baby's sleeping area, which may strangle the child or even cause suffocation.

This product is distributed by buybuy BABY, measures approximately 60.96*30.48*30.48cm, weighs approximately 3.04kg , and comes in a variety of colors.

It is reported that the recalled product number is 10216 and is sold on Amazon Canada, Walmart Canada, Bed Bath & Beyond , etc.

This product was sold between November 2020 and January 2021 and has now been ordered to be recalled and removed from multiple platforms.

Recall Product 3: évolur Stellar Baby Cradle

The évolur Stellar baby bassinet is also a product that has been recently recalled. Health Canada recommends that buyers immediately stop using the bassinet and contact Dream On Me for a refund.

It is reported that the product has been sold online on Buybuy BABY and Bed Bath & Beyond, the largest bedding brand in North America. From June to December 2020, a total of 400 cradles were sold in Canada.

Currently, these 400 products are being recalled and the relevant products on the online platform have been removed from the shelves.
