Sellers benefit! FBA New Selectio plan offers more discounts

On April 2, Amazon updated the relevant content of the " FBA New Selection Program" , and the preferential strength was increased again, which is more beneficial to sellers. And from April 1 , the upgraded Amazon Logistics New Selection Program will officially take effect in Amazon Saudi Arabia, UAE, Singapore, Canada and Mexico sites!

As an Amazon program that was launched last year to benefit sellers , the "FBA New Selection Program" provides ASINs with a monthly free storage and handling fee plan to help sellers on new sites test new products at low cost, thereby reducing the cost investment of sellers during the initial testing of new products.

This plan has been well received by sellers since it was launched in September last year . Therefore, Amazon has adjusted the plan many times in order to provide assistance and discounts to more sellers who meet the requirements. The upgraded Amazon Logistics New Product Selection Plan will undoubtedly benefit more sellers .

Judging from the content of Amazon's announcement , there are four main measures including warehousing, handling, returns and increased discounts for individual categories. The plan now provides free warehousing, handling and return processing discounts for any eligible standard-size and oversized ASINs.

For categories such as clothing, shoes and bags, Amazon will expand the free storage and handling offer from 50 pieces to 100 pieces, and extend the storage fee exemption period from 90 days to 120 days. In addition, the return processing fee exemption will be extended from 120 days to 180 days. As long as the buyer purchases the above categories and returns no more than 20 pieces, they can enjoy the processing fee exemption benefits.

In addition, eligible sellers can also obtain promotion points for sponsored ads. For details of the discounts on each site, please refer to the seller platform.

The upgraded version of Amazon Logistics' new product selection program also has requirements for seller qualifications : sellers must register to join the program and then send qualified products to Amazon's operations center to enjoy the discount.

And ASIN eligibility must also meet the following requirements:

First, the parent ASIN must be a newly registered product that joins Amazon Logistics. Second , the product must be brand new. Second-hand products do not meet the requirements of the program. Finally , non-media products (such as books, DVDs, music, software and computer/video games, videos and video game consoles, and video game accessories, etc. ) do not meet the requirements of the program .

And the warehousing time requirement will only be met if the products are received by the Amazon operation center after April 1, 2021. Sellers who meet the requirements can log in to the Seller Center and click on the latest updated “FBA New Selection Plan” to view the plan’s preferential content.
