Candid is a remote invisible braces company founded in 2017. It is known as the Warby (vertical glasses e-commerce) in the dental industry. It directly faces users and hopes to make teeth correction faster, easier and cheaper.

About Candid

• Candid sells a kit to customers, where they can make their own dental molds at home, which are then analyzed by an online network of orthodontists. The orthodontists create a treatment plan for the customer, and the customer gets 3D-printed braces. The customer wears the custom braces for a few months, and then wears a one-night stand. The cost starts at $1,900.
• In some ways, Candid offers a cheaper, less time-consuming version of Invisalign, which brought in more than $1 billion in sales last year;
• Candid launched its kit in September 2017, priced at $95. The instructions and usage of the kit are very clear and concise. The process of taking the impression and taking the photo takes about 20 minutes. Then the impression is placed in a prepaid package and the photo is uploaded to the Candid website. A week later, the dentist will make an evaluation. After 6 to 8 weeks, the braces will appear at the user's door. Then the user can continue to communicate with their orthodontist through video for 3 to 10 months.
