Boxed was founded in 2013 by its CEO Chieh Huang and is headquartered in New York. It is a mobile e-commerce company that focuses on bulk wholesale warehouse shopping and is known as the mobile version of Costco.
About Boxed Boxed completed a $25 million financing led by GGV Capital in January 2015. CEO Chieh Huang founded the game studio Astro Ape and sold it to Zynga in 2011. He quit the Zynga board of directors two years later and founded Boxed. |
