As Anguilla's financial services regulator, the AFSC is an independent body that acts in the best interests of regulation and is free from political and private sector influence. It has its own funding and is supervised by an independent and experienced Oversight Committee chaired by Mr. Ralph Hodge MBE.

A well-regulated financial sector will continue to attract new business, as Anguilla has done in recent years. I am confident that this growth will continue and that the AFSC will continue to provide the necessary regulatory framework.

In its succession planning, the Commission has identified three senior officials who possess the necessary skills and talents to effectively assist in achieving the Commission's strategic plan.
