Amazon sellers’ latest survey: Sales are expected to increase by 23% in 2022

On April 14, Remazing released its latest survey of Amazon sellers in 2022 .

 

85 of the Amazon sellers surveyed said they expect sales on the Amazon platform to increase to a certain extent in 2022 compared to last year . On average, Amazon sellers expect sales to increase by 23% .

 

As the world's largest cross-border e-commerce platform, Amazon attracts a large number of sellers every year. Most of the sellers surveyed have a positive attitude towards Amazon's business this year .

 

" Business growth and expansion " will be the main task for Amazon sellers in 2022.

 

The survey shows that about half of the sellers surveyed will develop and expand their internal teams on the Amazon platform in 2022. Among them, 65% of Amazon sellers plan to increase investment in optimizing their Amazon business this year.

 

Various brand manufacturers also plan to increase their investment in the Amazon platform.

 

Among them, 75% of brand manufacturers will increase their search advertising budgets , which is expected to increase by an average of 20% compared to 2021. 40 % of brand manufacturers intend to increase spending on Amazon DSP , which is expected to increase by an average of 16%.

 

However, the ever- changing global situation and supply chain challenges have also caused some sellers to express concerns about this year's sales. 23% of the sellers surveyed expect that this year's sales growth on the Amazon platform will be 10% lower than in 2021 .

 

In order to cope with the current complex market situation, sellers on the Amazon platform also plan to make corresponding changes in 2022.

 

Combined with Jungle Scout ’s survey data, 95% of sellers plan to expand their business on the Amazon platform.


53 % of sellers will work with professional operations agencies to build and manage their businesses ; 39% of sellers will develop their brands through social media, online influencers, etc.; in terms of advertising spending, 32% of sellers plan to increase marketing and advertising spending; in order to expand scale and obtain investment , 25% of new sellers plan to sell their businesses to aggregators (companies that acquire e-commerce brands) .
